I agree with the end of October. However we should look at taking the 89a all the way up through prescott and then to jerome and up to Sedona. Then Camp for the night and drive home!

There's some beautiful scenery up there.

Prescott has some nice campgrounds up on thumb butte

But Tortilla Flats is cool too

That'd be fun.. and I am dead serious about my mom's house, btw.. she's always talking about lending out the house for a party if I ever want to bring people up. Yeah.. she's crazy Smile

Agreed, set a date and they'll come, I voted for december/january, as I need to get some new rubber for mine before I attempt another drive, but I vote for up through Congress, Prescott, Jerome and Sedona, then back down 17. DOne that one solo at least 10x, and it never gets old.

we could do a southern arizona drive...cochise county and the like...through sonoita and then south through old bisbee...

Yo Ghost, wasn't the last drive a southern arizona drive?? I recall that is the reason I had to skip it... Heck it doesn't have to be to flagstaff or to mexico, but something between the boundaries which favorably alternates between the Phoenix and Tucson crews..

yes it was Mt. Graham...I just know I like the scenery on that drive is all...Whatever's clever guys...I could always use a reason to get out on the open road.
